Asleep

So Nathan wanted to play the Wii and I told him he needed to eat some cereal before he played. He was so tired and I knew he wasn't going to last long. When he sat down he instantly was falling asleep. The last video's I did we dark and and this one is to. I could see them on my computer but when I checked it with someone else's I couldn't see anything. So I hope you can see this one. Right after he was done eating I told him if he would lay in bed for five minutes to rest he could go play his game if he got up...I know I am mean but it took him about 2 minutes to fall asleep for the night.

For Grandma's missing their grandkids!

We all went to the Alligator Park! It was a ton of fun and we saw a lot of alligators!

Running to the car from the alligators!

Well who knows where the captions to these pictures are actually going to go so I stopped writing them. Hope you have fun just looking at them and two of the video's aren't supposed to be there but I can't tell which ones are the right one to delete. I hope you can see them some are dark but Nate is pretty funny. In one of them Nate was driving me nuts because he wanted me to blow up his balloon over and over so he could let the air out. After the 15th (or so) time I told him I was done and he can just play with the balloon blown up. He didn't like that idea and started to whine. I nicely told him he needs to not talk back to me and he needs to listen to what I am saying to him, and I was done blowing the balloon up. Needless to say he didn't think that was very nice. LOL! These video's are kindof lame but they are for the grandmas cause I know you guys are missing seeing them.

Hanging around the house

We like to just hang out around the house. Nate is constantly climbing on EVERYthing! Addison is growing little bits at a time. It has been so different with her, she does everything the opposite that Nate did. She eats less at a time, talks like crazy, it is amazing to me that she is a girl...well I guess I just didn't think there would be SO many differences. I don't know why, I guess I just never thought about it that often.

We have been spending our days at home the last little while. We have been drawing with chalk outside on our front patio, I bought Nate a paint set, so he paints in the grass or on my kitchen floor. We have a bug catcher that Nate uses to get bugs from the dirt. Nate also just got a bike! He loves to ride it and he fixes it with his Handy Manny tools. Addison can roll over back to front and front to back. She will scutch forward, but usually forgets she needs to lift her head up while doing it. Nate loves to hold Addi and watch movies with her. Addi is starting to eat rice cereal. She has been much happier this last week since we started. I wish I would have known I could start rice cereal at four months with Nate. He would have liked me a lot more.

We just went out to the pool today. I forgot how much I miss swimming with him, so we are going to start going out a lot more. Nate wears his floaties and a life jacket, so he goes everywhere in the pool and is starting to get pretty fast. I am burnt again. I don't know why but I tend to forget that it is a lot hotter here and there is humidity. Man how dumb can I get.

We also like to get away from the apartment complex. The Library is .5 miles away, so we walk there at least three times a week it seems. Nate like to read books and I read Nate the Great books to him at night before he goes to bed. (He introduced himself at the pool as Nate the Great to a girl, and kept telling her cause she was only calling him Nate.) They have story time at the Library. This week they read books about Kittens and then brought 6 kittens for the kids to play with. Nate kept grabbing and moving the kitten he was playing with when another kid would try to play with it. Then he told me that we needed to just take one home with us. Not going to happen.

There are a bunch of parks here. We try to go at least once a week. There is one with three sections, one for 0-2 another for 2-5 and one more for 5 and up. They also have a splash park that is a lot of fun. There is a huge pond with ducks to feed, a train that goes around the whole park. And the zoo is right next door.

Nate loves to cook with me. We have made banana bread, bread dough, pizza crusts, rolls, cinnamon rolls, mac and cheese, and sugar cookies. We froze the pizza crusts and we make mini pizzas for lunch.

I posted two other small posts before this one tonight if you want to see more!

We are missing everyone.

Bowling

During the off season Nathan is always going bowling and out to eat with Homeshield! Nate always wants to go with dad so we would take him. He loved to go, but is more interested on putting the balls on the ramp than seeing what his ball would hit. We had a lot of fun hanging out with the Wilders and relaxing.

Macaroni!

I was so excited for this day...Nate ate NOODLES!!! I was so excited to start making things with noodles. Ramen, mac and cheese, spaghetti, lasagna, white cheddar and shells. There are a lot of things.
Unfortunately, that was the only day...this was back in October, can't get him to eat them now...but we are going to try again tomorrow. Since he has been watching the videos. Hopefully I can get the videos working!

Wednesday, March 31

We walked to the park just 1.5 miles down the road. It was a good walk but Nate and Addison were both tired. I tried carrying Nate but I decided pushing both would be alot easier! Nathan bought me flowers for my birthday.
Obviously Nathans phone takes WAY better pictures than mine. But these are my flowers after they all bloomed.Nate loves holding his sister... I'm not so sure what she thinks about it.We bought a paint set for Nate. He loves to paint, and has painted almost everyday since I he's had them. We are having a blast. The weather is great! We have started going to the pool in the mornings so Nate can get some "Dad Time" in. Nate is missing his dad during the day but we are gettin through it. Addison is growing, she is finally 11lbs. She smiles alot and is a very good baby. I have been scrapbooking and reading some books when I get a second to myself. All in all we are loving our home here in Texas!
